The low-level flow is forecast to weaken through the day, and as the winds diminish some this afternoon they should turn from north or northwest back to the northeast to east and even southeast especially closer to the coast. Any showers through tonight associated with the closed low are expected to be to our northeast on the east side of it and closer to a surface low.Ī deep northerly flow will be across the Northeast and northern Mid- Atlantic due to the aforementioned closed low.
